The City of Tucson Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) is pleased to announce the release of our ESG-CV Homelessness Prevention Services Request for Proposals (RFP). This RFP will provide $250,000 in CARES Act Emergency Solutions Grant funds for the administration of expanded homelessness prevention services to prevent individuals and families from experiencing homelessness.
Eligible applicants include not-for-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
Assistance is available for first time homebuyers purchasing thoughout the City of Tucson and Pima County, excluding Tribal lands. Learn more about the program on the Down Payment Assistancce Program page.
The City of Tucson seeks public comment and input related to its Fiscal Year 2023 HUD Annual Action Plan. The Annual Action Plan establishes policies and goals and serves as the City’s application for Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Department annual entitlement funding through the Community Development Block Grant, Emergency Solutions Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships, and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS Programs.

The City of Tucson Housing and Community Development Department is now accepting applications from not-for-profit and for-profit affordable housing developers with capacity to develop affordable rental housing for HOME American Rescue Plan qualifying populations. Up to $1,500,000 is available with which the City intends to fund up to 3 qualifying projects. The maximum project award amount is $500,000. Interested developers are encouraged to review the Request for Proposals and Project Application. Applications are due by 11:59pm Arizona time on February 28, 2022.
