Known Errors/Qualifications:Some City parcel or portions of parcels have been excluded from the HCP planning and permit are for various reasons, such as having already been developed, having long-term least or right-of-entry agreements, etc.
Early 2010 - updates by J. Brown, primarily based on the City-owned parcel boundary configuration at that time.
May 2008 - Feature classes created by Jamie Brown. 1) Located all City-owned parcels [OWNERIDX = 'CITY'] as part of the "pa_region" file (April 2008) that were within a 300 ft buffer of all the lands identified in "permit_area_0807" for Avra Valley.2) Created a shapefile "Simpson_and_Martin_Farm_Mitigation_Areas_042308" for lands that are being restored or are scheduled to be restored as part of Clean Water Act mitigation. These include areas on the Simpson and Martin Farms being restored by Tucson Audubon Society. See the shapefile for how it was created.3) Removed the mitigation lands from the selected lands (Note: Lands can only count as mitigation once, which is why they were removed from the planning area.4) Joined the attributes from an "AvraFarms" shapefile received from Tucson Water to get the names of the farms and other attributes. 5) Unnecessary attribute fields were removed to make the attribute table more manageable6) Compared the lands in the "permit_area_0807" file with the newly created file. Removed well sites that were not included in the "permit_area_0807" shapefile.
Supplemental Information: The original shapefile was created based on input from teh ad-hoc HCP Technical Advisory Committee and staff of Tucson Water. It included most of the City-owned lands in Avra Valley managed by Tucson Water.
