|Entity Type||Feature Class|
|Summary||PARK_LIGHTING_ASSETS shows the locations of all the inventoried COT Parks and Recreation Department lightpoles, switchgear, and pullboxes associated with sports field lighting.|
Status: static (not updated)
Intended Use: For map display and capital improvement planning
Known Errors or Qualifications: The intention of GIS inventory was to locate all assets that were plainly visible in the field. Many pullboxes are buried and may not be included in this inventory. Some switch gear is located in indoor facilities and were not accessible for inventory. Pullboxes and switch gear are not clearly labelled in the field and there may be some assets included/excluded from the inventory as a result.
Supplemental Information: Asset points were either collected in the field with a handheld GPS unit or digitized from PAG 2008 Regional Digital Orthophoto Project and 2010 Spring Pictometry Color Orthophoto Imagery.
Lineage: Circa- July 2010 created by Norris Design, 418 N. Toole Ave, Tucson AZ 85701, Phone (520)622-9565 using ArcMap
MAP_ID = unique ID # for park location taken from the PARK_Asset_Polygons_Curb_To_Curb layer
LOCATION = Data Driven Page name. This field corresponds to the field of the same name in the PARK_Asset_Polygons_Curb_To_Curb layer. It is as an index for the pages. Some large parks (i.e. JOHN F KENNEDY PARK) have been have multiple "locations" to allow them to be displayed on an 8.5 x 11" sheet at a legible scale.
LABEL_1 = Park Name. USE THIS FIELD TO SUMMARIZE ASSETS BY PARK.
ASSET = Asset category (Lightpole, Lightpole removed, pullbox, switchgear)
POLE_ID = Pole number from pole if labelled in the field. If not labelled the pole number follows the standard convention for numbering. In a few instances the field label conflicted with the label given in the Musco data. In those cases the Musco label was used and the field label was moved into the COMMENT field.
MATERIAL = Asset material (WOOD, METAL, COMPOSITE, CONCRETE, UNKNOWN, NA)
FIXTURES = Number of light fixtures per pole
FIXTR_TYPE = Type of light fixture
MANUFACTUR = Manufacturer of the light system
STATUS = ACTIVE / RETIRED
DATE_RET = month/year of retirement
COMMENT = Field observations, notes
DISTRICT = TPRD District
P1_FILE = File name of field photograph 1
P2_FILE = File name of field photograph 2
P3_FILE = File name of field photograph 3
P1_PATH = Path for field photograph 1
P2_PATH = Path for field photograph 2
P3_PATH = Path for field photograph 3
QAQC = Initials of person who performed quality control of the data
GPS_Date = Month/day/year that the GPS position was collected
REL8_2MSCO = Relate field for linking to Musco data. Corresponds to the REL8_2POLE field in the Musco_Field_Lighting_Data table. Created by concatenating Complex_ID - POLE_ID.
