TDOT has selected a 13-member Citizens Task Force (CTF) to represent the community as the Planning & Design work is performed. The CTF will work with the project team to evaluate the roadway alignment and cross section widths and provide input, review and approval of land use and urban design concepts. The CTF will meet as often as monthly as the need for input dictates and actively participate in three or four community open houses or workshops. Additionally, CTF members will share project information with, and gather input from, local property owners, businesses, and neighborhood associations.
Broadway Boulevard Citizens Planning Task Force
Public meeting information for the Citizens Task Force is primarily advertised through the City of Tucson's City Clerk's Office, including upcoming meeting agendas, members of the Task Force, and other pertinent information. - An understanding of the data and performance assessments of the different alternatives;
- Recommended changes to the drawings, performance measures and goals, and assessments;
- Recommendations on the alternatives to move forward into further design and analysis; and,
- Input on what to obtain from the public at Public Meeting #4, to be held in ~May, 2014, at which time the results from this charrette will be shared with the public.
