The City of Tucson’s Planning and Development Services Department (PDSD) is inviting the public to provide comments on updates to the City’s Development Impact Fee Report Tuesday, April 21, at the Mayor and Council regular meeting.
The City of Tucson collects development impact fees to fund public infrastructure improvements needed due to new residential and non-residential growth. These fees are set based on the adopted Land Use Assumptions and Infrastructure Improvements Plan, which outline growth projections and current and future infrastructure needs. The report and data must be updated every five years per Arizona statute. The Development Impact Fee Report will be considered on April 21, with an adoption hearing occurring in June. Review the development impact fee website and draft report.
Questions prior to the meeting can be sent to Samuel Rogers via email at Samuel.Rogers@tucsonaz.gov.
