Bicyle Safety

Stop at all stop signs and obey traffic lights.

Always wear a helmet when on your bike, scooter or skateboard.

The helmet should fit snugly all around, with no spaces between the foam and the rider's head.

Make sure the bottom of the pad inside the front of the helmet is one or two finger widths above the bike rider’s eyebrows.

Pedestrian Safety

Walk or run in the opposite direction of traffic.

Use crosswalks to cross the street.

Wear bright clothes so drivers can see you.

Make sure to be free of distractions and alert to what is happening around you.
