Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8)
The HCV program assists eligible low-income families or individuals in obtaining affordable, decent, sanitary, and safe housing in Tucson. Rent is based on the household's income. The portion of rent paid by the Housing Authority is paid directly to the landlord and the participant pays the difference of the contract rent to the landlord directly.
