The City of Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility (DTM) is planning new street improvements that will provide complete and connected sidewalks on both sides of Roger Road from Oracle Road to Romero Road, enhanced street crossings, street lighting, and landscaping for shade. The Roger Road Pedestrian Safety and Walkability project is a part of the voter-approved Proposition 407 Tucson Delivers Strong Connections Program that will expand the citywide low-stress biking and walking network.

The City of Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility (DTM) is planning new street improvements to Treat Avenue from the Rillito River to the Aviation Bikeway for a total of six miles, connecting to five parks, three greenways, and six schools. The Treat Avenue Bicycle Boulevard is part of the voter-approved Proposition 407 Tucson Delivers Strong Connections Program that will expand the citywide low-stress biking and walking network.

On Monday, October 26, 2020, Planning and Development Services launched Phase 1 of its new Online Building Permit Application to process most building permit submittals. This new process is part of a phased approach to help automate the intake of permits. It aims to reduce the time from application submission to permit initialization and allow for more immediate tracking of permit progress.
