The Barnacle will replace the old boots that the police and parking enforcement would put on impounded vehicles. An officer or parking agent will put a sticker on the window with a hearing date and the device, a large yellow cover that prevents vision out of the driver’s side window, will be placed on the car.

Campbell Avenue Closure Postponed

Due to recent storm activity, the removal of existing asphalt, subgrade preparation and base paving work scheduled at the Broadway and Campbell Avenue intersection from 6 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021, until about 5 a.m. on Monday, August 2, 2021, has been postponed. The work is scheduled to take place in mid-August. Additional information will be released at a later date.
