Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey yesterday, June 29, issued an executive order that closes bars, nightclubs, gyms, movie theaters, water parks, and tubing until at least July 27. The order went into effect at 8 o'clock last night to help stem the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus cases in Arizona.
The order also delays the start of the next school year until at least Aug. 17. Ducey also banned gatherings of more than 50 people, but churches and political rallies are exempt.
