The cart will stay there year-round, with toys available to kids on special occasions, such as holidays, birthdays, or moments needed to make a smile.

Help Tucson Get a Grip on Graffiti

The swift reporting and abatement of graffiti discourages future vandalism, so when you see graffiti report it immediately.

Graffiti Protective Coatings and the City of Tucson have a smartphone application for reporting graffiti. MyTucson is a free download on the iOS App Store and Google Play for Android.

You can also report graffiti by emailing, or calling (520)792-2489 and choosing option 1.

How to Handle Illegal Dumping

When moving time comes, typically around the end of the month and the end of University of Arizona semesters, people occasionally dump their trash where it doesn't belong. Property owners are responsible for trash cleanup of items dumped on their property and abutting areas.

One option is to use the free Brush and Bulky collection, provided twice a year by the City of Tucson's Environmental Services department.

Don't Forget to License Your Christmas Pup

If you're planning to give the gift of a puppy or adult dog this Christmas, be sure to get your new family member properly licensed.

Legally, dogs must be vaccinated for rabies and licensed in Pima County, and there are benefits that go along with the tag. Your licensed dog can be reunited with you if it runs away and somebody finds it, and it also will be allowed to play in one of Tucson's many dog parks (watch video below).
