Saguaro National Park Reopened Today

Some good news from our friends at Saguaro National Park:

Saguaro National Park is pleased to announce that it has reopened to visitors today, following the federal government shutdown due to a lapse in appropriations.

"We are happy to be back working to serve the American people and welcoming visitors back to their park," according to Darla Sidles, Superintendent of Saguaro National Park.  "We are proud to be a member of the Tucson community and grateful to again contribute towards the prosperity and rich history of this unique region."

Volunteer Drivers needed

Do you have one morning or afternoon a month available to help are seniors stay connected with our community? By volunteering for iTNGreaterTucson to drive seniors and younger adults with visual impairments wherever they need to and want to go, you are opening ‘more than car doors’ for fellow Tucson area residents. Ask about our unique volunteer benefits, too.
