City Recruiting Plumber

The City of Tucson is hiring a plumber to work in its Environmental & General Services Department. Duties include maintaining, inspecting, repairing, and installing plumbing, commercial irrigation and related systems, and components in City-owned facilities.

A plumber provides journey-level commercial service and works independently with little to no supervision. The position is subject to on-call, weekends, and holidays as needed.

2nd Annual Summer Splash Bash

The City of Tucson Parks & Recreation Department and Vice Mayor Shirley Scott invite you to the 2nd Annual Summer Splash Bash. There will be free swimming, water games, train rides, pizza and eegee's.

Event takes place on Wednesday, July 24th from 5-7pm at Purple Heart Park Pool,10050 E Rita Rd.

Unified Community Advisory Board Meeting This Week

The next quarterly meeting of the Unified Community Advisory Board (UCAB) is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17, at 5:45 p.m. at the El Pueblo Neighborhood Center, 101 W. Irvington Road. UCAB hosts meetings regarding the Tucson International Airport Area EPA Superfund Site/Tucson Airport Remediation Project and the City of Tucson’s efforts and commitment to provide clean and safe water to the community.
