The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday, Feb. 5, passed H.R. 2382, the USPS Fairness Act, by a vote of 309-106.
The bill would undo the mandate that the U.S. Postal Service must pre-fund retiree health care costs. The bill now heads to the U.S. Senate where a companion version of the measure was introduced on Dec. 3, 2019.
