Miracle Mile Gateway Car Show is Saturday

The Golden Pin Lanes Bowling Center will be hosting the Miracle Mile Gateway Car Show and celebration of historic Miracle Mile for the final time this Saturday, March 30, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., at 1010 W. Miracle Mile.

This free event features food and refreshments, music, a 50/50 raffle to benefit Gospel Rescue Mission, door prizes, activities for kids, and show cars. Golden Pin Lanes will feature historic photos and neon signs. Car show registration is from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday.

City Planning Department Now Has Online Inspection Dashboard

The City of Tucson's Planning and Development Services Department (PDSD) recently launched its online Inspection Dashboard, which makes field inspections paperless and allows the public access to information related to their scheduled inspections. The Inspection Dashboard lets customers know the inspector assigned to them, the results of their inspections, and links to permit data.

Three Open Houses Scheduled for Region's Future Transportation Improvement Program

The Pima Association of Governments (PAG) is hosting three open houses for the public to review and comment on the draft Five-Year Regional Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for FY 2020-2024. The draft identifies priorities for federal, state, and local roadways; transit services and aviation projects; and programs such as ride-sharing, vanpooling, and pedestrian safety.

Go Green for Cerebral Palsy Awareness

Tucson City Hall will be lit up in green starting tonight, March 25, at dusk in recognition of National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day.

Cerebral palsy (CP) is a group of disorders affecting a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture. Worldwide, there are more than 17 million adults and children with CP.

Sites in all 50 states will light up in green for cerebral palsy awareness. This includes bridges, buildings, and registered landmarks. To see the complete list, follow the above link.
