On Monday, March 9, 2015, crews from Sunland Asphalt, under contract with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT), will begin work to improve the pavement conditions on Benson Highway from Irvington Road to Interstate 10.
Crews will begin the project by lowering manhole covers and water valve covers. Lowering the utility covers is expected to take one day to complete. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Work to resurface Ironwood Hill Drive from Shannon Road to Silverbell Road has been delayed until Thursday, March 19, 2015 due to weather conditions. The resurfacing work was scheduled to begin on Wednesday, March 4, 2015.

On Wednesday, March 4, 2015, beginning at 9 a.m., crews from the City of Tucson Department of Transportation Streets and Traffic Maintenance Electric Shop will replace a median island streetlight pole at Speedway Boulevard and Alamo Avenue, which is one block west of Wilmot Road.
Beginning Tuesday, March 3, 2015, crews will be drilling test holes on Grant Road from Sparkman Boulevard (just east of Country Club Road) to Arcadia Avenue (just east of Swan Road) to determine the characteristics of the existing soil conditions prior to the start of an upcoming resurfacing project. The geotechnical work is scheduled to be complete by Friday, March 6, 2015. Work hours will be 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
