CENTURY LINK UTILITY RELOCATION WORK
FOR DOWNTOWN LINKS PHASE III PROJECT
As part of the City of Tucson Department of Transportation's Downtown Links Phase III project, Century Link is continuing work to relocate their existing facilities located within the project limits.
For the fifth consecutive year, the City of Tucson is providing a free shuttle service for visitors to the Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase. The GemRide shuttle system connects 41 shows from 33 stops on four connected routes. GemRide service runs daily, Jan. 30-Feb. 14, from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. (limited service this Friday only). Service times vary depending on shuttle route.
If you're visiting Tucson for the gem show, the Sun Link streetcar is a good way to get around downtown, and there are many fare options available to ride the streetcar. Cash is not accepted on the car, but you can use it at machines at the stops to buy a $4 one-day pass. In addition, you can buy SunGO passes online and at regular Sun Tran merchants or use the Go Tucson app to pay your fare.
