On Wednesday, May 27, 2015, PACE Electric, under contract with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT), will begin work to install a TOUCAN pedestrian and bike signal at Euclid Avenue and Fifth Street. Work on this project will be conducted Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. At least one travel lane will be open in each direction at all times during the project. The project is scheduled to be complete by the end of August.

On Wednesday, May 20, 2015, crews from Intermountain Slurry Seal, under contract with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT), will begin milling (removing asphalt) and repaving Third Street between Campbell Avenue and Tucson Boulevard.
Third Street will be closed to all through traffic on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 for the milling work and on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 for the repaving work. The closures on both days will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tucson, AZ– May 18, 2015– Tucson Vice Mayor Richard Fimbres and numerous elected and business officials have launched a set of open surveys in an effort to provide the residents of Tucson a platform to share opinions about, and impacts of, the consolidation plans for the Tucson Postal Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC)/Cherrybell.
