Asian Lanterns Light Up Zoo

Reid Park Zoo is partnering with Tianyu Arts & Culture Inc., UA Global, and the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center to bring more than 400 colorful, interactive, and customized lantern displays to Southern Arizona. The Asian Lantern Festival runs 6-9 p.m. nightly, through March 29.

The family-friendly event features Asian-inspired entertainment, cuisine, and activities, and 80% of the lanterns are new to the Zoo. Animals have access to heated habitats behind the scenes and will likely choose to be off habitat.
