Transportation Streets and Traffic Maintenance Division will chip seal
Campbell Avenue from Duvall Vista to Jason Vista. The work hours for
this one day project are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. During the work there will be
one travel lane available to both northbound and southbound traffic.

Installation of water valves will close the southbound center and right curb lanes of Wilmot Rd. from 5th St. to Broadway from 9 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, to 3:30 p.m., Friday, May 8.
Lane closures will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Steel plates will be temporarily installed to allow through traffic when work is not occurring.
New valves will be installed on a 12” water main line. The project includes excavation, valve installation, and repaving. There will be no interruption of water service to customers.

On Sunday, May 3, 2015, crews from Southern Arizona Paving and Construction Co., under contract with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT), will adjust manhole covers and water valve covers flush with the new asphalt on Stone Avenue between Toole Avenue/Franklin Street and Alameda Street. Stone Avenue will be closed to all through traffic during the active construction hours for this project.

A dog-only free vaccination clinic will be held from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Ward 5 Council Office, 4300 S. Park Ave. The event will be first-come, first-served for the first 200 dogs.
Pima Animal Care Center, along with the Animal Welfare Alliance of Southern Arizona and the Humane Society of the United States, is participating in this collaborative effort to increase vaccination rates throughout Tucson. Vaccines for rabies, Parvovirus and distemper will be offered at no cost through a generous grant from the Humane Society of the United States.

On Tuesday, April 28, 2015 through Thursday, April 30, 2015, crews from Granite Construction Co., under contract with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation, will adjust manhole covers and water valve covers flush with the new asphalt along Grant Road from Santa Rita Avenue to Campbell Avenue. This work will take place from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. all three days. Travel lane closures will last approximately 24 hours to allow the concrete ring around the covers to dry.
