The 2018 Arizona Insect Festival Takes Place Sunday

The University of Arizona Department of Entomology will host the 2018 Arizona Insect Festival on Sunday, Oct. 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the University of Arizona (UA) Environmental and Natural Resources 2 Building on East Lowell Street. The free event is designed to improve science literacy and increase awareness about the importance of insects. Parking in nearby campus garages will be free.

Festival highlights include Ask A Scientist Café, Stings ‘N’ Things, the Amazing World of Beetles, Aquatic Insects, Tohono Chul's Native Bee Workshop, the UA insect collection, faculty talks, and more. Approximately 6,500 visitors attended the 2017 festival.
