The second annual Sustainable Landscapes Expo takes place Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pima County Cooperative Extension, 4210 N. Campbell Ave. This free, family-friendly event features more than 30 exhibitors with demonstrations and hands-on activities on efficient water use for gardening sustainability.
Subjects include native plant propagation techniques, demonstrations of drip irrigation, creating a wildlife-friendly landscape, heat-proofing a garden, and more. The event also features food trucks, a free raffle for items and services, magic shows, flash talks, and live music.
The 2019 Sustainable Landscapes Expo is hosted by Pima Smartscape, Tucson Water, and the University of Arizona College of Agriculture & Life Sciences – Cooperative Extension.
