The next 2nd Saturdays Downtown takes place tomorrow, March 9.
Events during the day include Living History Days at the Presidio San Agustin del Tucson, Wildflowers of the Sonoran Desert at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library, and an Inspired Fitness Mixxedfit class at Jacome Plaza. Evening events include live music at the Mercado San Agustin courtyard, Art After Dark at the Children’s Museum Tucson, and Tucson Roadrunners hockey at the Tucson Convention Center.
Some events are free, while some require tickets or admission fees. The main stage at Scott Avenue and Congress Street opens tomorrow at 5 p.m. with free concerts from Las Trillizas y Dulce, Young MacDonald, and Yum.
2nd Saturdays Downtown is a community-oriented event hosted by businesses, artists, restaurants, and downtown enthusiasts. Street parking downtown is free on weekends. The Sun Link streetcar will operate from 8 a.m. Saturday until 2 a.m. Sunday.
