The 42nd Annual Tucson Pride Festival will be held tomorrow, Sept. 28, noon-9 p.m., at Reid Park, DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center, 22nd Street and Country Road. This year’s theme is "Rise Up," a theme to emphasize the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and subsequent five decades of progress for the LGBTQ community.
The event features more than 100 community resources and vendors, and a diverse range of local entertainment, cultural groups, and performers. There will be a parade to open this year's festival.
General admission is $20, with discounts for military, seniors, first responders, college students, and children.
