Arizona Project WET (APW), a water education outreach program, is transforming in-person instruction to virtual learning. APW now offers educational components of the Arizona Water Festival (AWF) online, called the AWF Virtual Event.
Components include interactive videos and activities that focus on groundwater, watersheds and watershed management, the water cycle, and water conservation technology, and is appropriate for 3rd graders and higher. Teachers and parents are welcome to use this virtual water festival with their students and children.
The virtual water festival is available anytime and is self-paced. For questions, contact Tucson Program Coordinator Holly Thomas-Hilburn at (520) 621-7477 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
