Arizona Project WET's Arizona Water Festival (AWF) is now virtual because of the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing. AWF is an opportunity for elementary school students and their families to learn about water resources and water-saving technology through short videos and online activities.
Students can participate in the four content areas that focus on real world and relevant topics for Arizona, including watersheds and water management, the groundwater system, the water cycle, and water conservation technology. There is a quiz at the end that offers another opportunity to solidify learning.
Arizona Project WET has adapted many of its programs for classrooms and for use at home.
