Bike Share Begins Tomorrow in Tucson

Starting tomorrow, 330 bicycles will be available at 36 stations in and around Downtown Tucson and the University of Arizona.

Tugo Bike Share will begin service with a launch party tomorrow at Catalina Park, 900 N. 4th Ave. At 12:30 p.m., Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild will lead a ride-out, where he and a large group of cyclists will pedal Tugo bikes from Catalina Park to some of the self-service, solar-powered bike share stations.

Daily, monthly, and annual passes will be available to rent bikes. An app, CycleFinder, is available for payment and a map of the stations.

During the month of December, Tugo and supporting sponsor Caterpillar will offer Free Ride Tuesdays.
