A Community Development Block Grant of $458,000 funded recent improvements to Mission Manor Park, 6100 S. 12th Ave. The park has a new playground and swings, irrigation improvements, and a new ramada with lighting, outlets, and tables with benches. All improvements are ADA accessible. Other enhancements include the installation of a new state-of-the-art energy efficient lighting system and a remotely-controlled scoreboard installed on baseball field one.
