Ward 5 Tucson City Council Member Richard Fimbres, Housing and Community Development, and Tucson Parks and Recreation invite you to celebrate park improvements at Pueblo Gardens Park.
The project provided site and playground improvements focused on access for the disabled. Improvements included resurfacing two existing parking lots with ADA spaces, sidewalks throughout the site for access to various amenities, and new, accessible drinking fountains, picnic tables, and an accessible playground with a shade canopy.
Funding for the project came from Community Development Block Grant funds of $252,000.
Tomorrow's celebration begins at 10 a.m. at Pueblo Gardens Park, 2585 E. 36th St.
