Church Avenue and Alameda Street Sign Replacement This Week

Beginning at 2 a.m. tomorrow, May 5, crews from the City of Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility (DTM) Sign Shop will replace four overhead street name signs at the Church Avenue and Alameda Street intersection. During the work, westbound Alameda will be closed to through travel at Church, and left turns from northbound Church and right turns from southbound Church onto Alameda will be prohibited.

There also will be travel restrictions on northbound and southbound Church and on westbound Alameda, just east of the intersection, with one lane of travel maintained. The work is scheduled to be finished by 2 p.m. tomorrow.
