The City of Tucson is recruiting apprentice utility technicians for the Tucson Water department. Technicians help maintain, monitor, and service water systems. This also includes resolving water service problems, monitoring and recording water usage, and providing emergency service.
Work may be physically labor-intensive and take place in all weather conditions. The position involves after-hours and weekend work as needed.
A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required. Preferred qualifications include one year of experience in installation, mainenance, or repair in a utility-related field. Applications must be received by Dec. 5. A written exam will be held Dec. 13.
