The City of Tucson is recruiting highly qualified individuals with chemistry backgrounds to perform analyses on drinking water, surface water, and waste water utilizing EPA-approved methods for Tucson Water. Duties include processing analytical data and preparing reports in compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding drinking water and surface water requirements.
Qualifications include possessing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in chemistry, microbiology, or a closely related field, and two years of experience performing chemical and microbiological lab and field analyses. Applications must be received by Aug. 30. Oral board interviews will be held Sept. 17 and 18.
