The City of Tucson's Human Resources department is seeking a qualified human resources professional to join its Classification and Compensation Unit. This position performs job analyses, prepares job announcements, and updates job descriptions. A human resources analyst will also conduct the recruitment process, develop applicant screening and selection devices, evaluate applications and resumes, oversee interview panels, and conduct reference checks.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience in human resources management. The ideal candidate will have experience and a strong understanding in the area of classification and compensation of human resources.
Applications must be submitted by May 3. Oral board interviews will take place on May 8.
