Each year, the City of Tucson is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to update the five-year Consolidated Plan and develop an Annual Action Plan for implementation.
The FY 2020 Annual Action Plan incorporates community needs, available resources, strategies and priorities for the one-year period beginning on July 1, 2019. The five-year Consolidated Plan outlines the needs, priorities, goals, and strategies for housing, support services, and community development programs to guide the City’s investment of HUD entitlement funding. The City will receive approximately $10 million in FY 2020 under several federal programs.
The public is invited to participate in a public meeting to discuss community needs that can be addressed with annual entitlement funding from HUD. That meeting will be held May 14, 3-4:30 p.m., at the Sentinel Building, 320 N. Commerce Park Loop.
