The City of Tucson is recruiting an electronics technician for its Transportation department. The position’s primary duties involve constructing, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic-controlled equipment and traffic signal systems. Additional responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance and conducting traffic studies.
An associate degree and at least two years of experience in maintaining and repairing electronic equipment, two-way radio, microwave, fiber optic, and related communications systems are required. Applications must be received by July 23. Oral board interviews will be held in August.
