The City of Tucson is hiring a fuel station mechanic to work in its Environmental & General Services Department (EGSD). The position is responsible for maintaining the operation of refueling stations, natural gas compressors, and related equipment.
A fuel station mechanic also maintains records, reports, and inventory, and may help perform scheduled and emergency maintenance. The job is subject to after-hours and weekend work as needed.
Applicants should have six months of post-high school education and at least four years of maintaining, repairing, and diagnosing problems in electrical and mechanical systems in commercial applications. Applications must be received by Dec. 8. Panel board interviews will be held the week of Dec. 16.
