The City of Tucson is hiring a human resources (HR) manager to oversee one of its satellite units. Duties include supervising the work of at least two full-time employees and acting as a liaison between employees and management.
The HR manager assists with implementing a department's vision by encouraging employee productivity and morale, researching and developing policy recommendations, investigating and resolving grievances, and providing guidance and advice to employees and management.
Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in human resources, with at least three of them in a lead or supervisory capacity. Preferred qualifications include certifications in several areas. Applications must be received by July 13. Virtual panel interviews will be held the week of July 27.
