The City of Tucson is accepting applications for a legal secretary to work in the Criminal Division of the City Attorney's Office. The position provides legal secretarial support to attorneys and investigators.
A secretary also manages and maintains dockets and files, transcribes legal trials, and prepares legal documents. Some assignments include purging and clearing arrest records, reviewing and redacting camera videos and audio records, and following up on motions and disclosure requests.
A valid typing certificate and at least two years of administrative support and handling of confidential information are required. The deadline to apply is Jan. 30. Oral board interviews and written assessments will be held Feb. 11-15.
