The City of Tucson is seeking a locksmith to work in the Environmental & General Services Department. A locksmith maintains the safety and security of City buildings by installing, repairing, or replacing cylindrical locksets, panic hardware, and door closures. A locksmith also follows codes and regulations to ensure compliance with fire life safety codes and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
At least two years of installing and repairing security hardware for doors and electrical access-controlled systems at the skilled journey level is required. Applications must be received by Jan. 2. Oral board interviews will take place on Jan. 16.
