The City of Tucson is recruiting a project manager to oversee several bicycling and walking projects being implemented by the Tucson Department of Transportation. This includes greenways and shared-use paths, pedestrian safety and walkability, bicycle safety and mobility, as well as green infrastructure for all three.
A project manager coordinates with experts from different fields and regularly communicates with the public, agencies, and other City departments. Candidates must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed. A bachelor’s degree and at least three years of managing complex projects are required. A master's degree in planning, engineering, landscape architecture, architecture, or public administration is preferred.
Applications must be received by Feb. 24. Phone screening interviews will be held Feb. 28, and oral board interviews will be held March 5.
