The City of Tucson is seeking a tax auditor to work in its Business Services Department, Tax Audit section. Duties include conducting city/state business sales tax audits to calculate sales and use tax liability and determining compliance with tax laws. A tax auditor regularly communicates with others in city government, business owners, community members who contract with the City of Tucson and the State of Arizona, and the public.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in professional accounting or auditing. Applications must be received by Oct. 31. Oral board interviews will be scheduled for the week of Nov. 26.
