The City of Tucson is hiring a traffic control technician to work in its Transportation Department. The position is in the Sign Shop area of the Traffic Maintenance Division and assists in the repair, removal, and installation of street signs and roadway markings. Other duties include setting up safety equipment and traffic control devices for the safety of the work crews and motorists.
Requirements include six months of post-high school education and one year assisting in the installation of street signs. Applications must be received by Nov. 21. Oral board interviews will be held Dec. 4.
