The City is recruiting a landscape architect for its Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT). The position is responsible for planning and coordinating projects for park and roadway facilities. An architect manages the planning and design of City landscapes, coordinates funding sources and budget tracking, and serves as the point of contact for internal and external customers.
A bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and three years of experience in managing landscape project design and construction contracts are required. Applicant must be registered as a landscape architect in the State of Arizona or in another state with a reciprocity agreement with Arizona.
Applications must be received by Jan. 31. Phone screenings and oral board interviews will be held Feb. 6 and 8, respectively.
