City Seeking Lead Court Interpreter

The City of Tucson is accepting applications for a lead court interpreter to work in Tucson City Court. The position provides Spanish-language interpreting and translation services to the non-English speaking public during all municipal court proceedings and other court-related events.

Duties also include managing, scheduling, and coordinating the day-to-day activities of court and contract interpreters. Four years of professional experience providing English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English interpreting services, with two years in a court setting, is required.

The deadline to apply is Feb. 28. Oral board interviews will be held the week of March 4.
