City Seeking Transportation Administrator

The City is recruiting a transportation administrator for the Traffic Engineering Division of the Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT).

Duties include conducting traffic engineering and transportation planning studies, preparing traffic construction plans, and coordinating activities with other divisions, departments, and outside agencies. A planner manages the activities and personnel of the Traffic Engineering Division and provides administrative support to the TDOT director and deputy directors.

A bachelor’s degree and at least five years in a transportation or related functional area, with four of the five years in a supervisory capacity, are required. Applicant must be registered as a professional engineer in the State of Arizona or in another state with a reciprocity agreement with Arizona.
