City Splash Pads Open

Tucson Parks and Recreation's two splash pads opened today, April 1, and the spring schedule for pools is now in effect. Cool off at the Catalina Park splash pad, 900 N. Fourth Ave., or the Naida Jane Baker splash pad, 2536 N. Castro Ave. A new splash pad at Palo Verde Park, 425 S. Mann Ave. will be open near the end of April after construction is complete.

The splash pads have manual activation systems to allow people to turn on the water features as desired, and the parks also have playgrounds. The splash pads are operational through the end of October, 8 a.m. until dusk.
