City of Tucson Hiring City Magistrate

The City of Tucson is seeking a city magistrate for a four-year appointment to Tucson City Court. Applicants must be of good moral character, a resident of Arizona for one year immediately preceding recommendation, and admitted to the practice of law in Arizona for five years immediately preceding recommendation.

The City Magistrate Merit Selection Commission will make a recommendation to the Mayor and Council. A “Questionnaire for Candidates for Judicial Office” can be obtained at the City Clerk’s Office, 9th Floor, City Hall, 255 W. Alameda St., or by emailing cityclerk@tucsonaz.gov.
