City of Tucson Hiring Housing Technician

The City of Tucson is accepting applications for a housing technician to work in its Housing and Community Development Department (HCD). The position is responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance services for more than 1,500 public housing and affordable housing units.

This includes maintaining and repairing the interior and exterior of public housing units, evaluating the condition of housing units, and estimating equipment and material needs. The job also involves interacting with residents and program participants.

Minimum qualifications include at least four years of maintaining and repairing housing units and six months of post-high school education. The deadline to apply is March 27. Oral boards and practical exams will be held the week of April 1.
