The City of Tucson is recruiting a water quality laboratory supervisor for the Tucson Water department. The water quality laboratory is responsible for regulatory compliance sampling and analysis, as well as routine discretionary sampling and analysis.
The supervisor generates final reports for both internal and external clients, reviews submitted to the State of Arizona for compliance purposes, is responsible for final review and approval of all standard operating procedures, and determines future needs of the laboratory.
A bachelor’s degree and five years of managing the daily operations and administrative functions of a water quality laboratory are required. Applications must be received by Nov. 10. Oral board interviews will be held Nov. 21.
