The public is invited to participate in a City of Tucson public meeting to discuss community needs that can be addressed with annual entitlement funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The meeting will be held tomorrow, March 12, from 3-4:30 p.m., at the Sentinel Building, 320 N. Commerce Park Loop.
Public input will be used to prepare the FY 2020 City of Tucson Annual Action Plan and prepare for the next Five-Year Consolidated Plan. Each year, the City of Tucson is required by HUD to update the five-year plan and develop an annual implementation (action) plan.
The City will receive approximately $10 million in FY 2020 under the following federal programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA).
